2021 Honda CBR150R: All You Need To Know About This Bike
The 2021 Honda CBR150R has been already launched in Indonesia. The updated model comes with a way more aggressive bodywork almost like the Honda CBR250RR. It also gets a more premium Showa SFF-BP inverted front fork and a rear monoshock suspension. Interestingly, aside from providing more sophisticated damping, the front fork isn’t preload-adjustable just like the telescopic fork in its predecessor.
Honda CBR150R Engine
Other than this, the bike also features a 6-speed transmission with an assist-and-slipper clutch. The assist function is claimed to scale back the lever effort by 15 percent whereas the slipper clutch prevents the rear wheel from locking up during hard downshifts. That said, the engine remains an equivalent 149.16cc DOHC single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine as before. It also churns out an equivalent output: 17.1PS at 9000rpm and 14.4Nm at 7000rpm.

The bike comes with a dual-channel ABS as an optional variant. The new Honda CBR150R is unlikely to be launched in India as its selling price would be too high for a motorcycle of its category. Instead, Honda is getting to introduce its entire 500cc parallel-twin lineup in 2021, including the Honda CBR500R.
